Hi, To address negative dreams without medication: Practice stress reduction techniques. Establish a calming bedtime routine. Address underlying stressors with therapy. Minimize exposure to triggers before bedtime. Visualize positive scenarios before sleep. Maintain regular exercise and healthy sleep habits. Seek professional help if needed for persistent issues.

Sorry to hear that you're struggling with anxiety, depression, and experiencing distressing dreams, like the ones related to suicide. It could be after effects of stopping the medication. Please reach out to a counselling psychologist for immediate support. Also, to avoid bad dreams, engage in calming activities before bedtime, such as practicing deep breathing exercises, or taking a warm bath to help signal to your body that it's time to wind down. Avoid any stressors or triggers before bedtime that may lead towards bad dreams. Take care!

Hi Thanks for reaching out. Consult a psychiatrist about medication. It is important to consult a psychiatrist before you stop taking medication. You are having negative dreams every alternate day. Consult a psychologist and explain about your dream. With a psychologist you can also talk about what is making you feel anxious. You can consult the same psychiatrist or another one and explain about side effects of medication. To feel better I suggest consulting a psychiatrist and psychologist. With the help and guidance of a mental health professional you will feel better.
