Hi.. First, please consult your Doctor (gynaecologist/obstetrician) who diagnosed you with this condition (adenomyosis) and enquire how much impact it can have on your mental health and if it can produce this kind of issue (crying for without any reason, numbness around cheeks, etc.). Please understand, our body and mind is one and not two separate entities. We first need to understand the exact cause to suggest the right course of treatment. Based on what your doctor tell you, please consult a Psychologist for Counselling or Psychiatrist for Medication (if required). Based on what you have shared I believe your issues can be addressed by your doctor and you can seek counselling for your concerns. Remember, if the roots of your psychological issues were present way before this condition developed. There is a possibility of your mind impacting your body. In that case, you will need to address those core issues to become healthy (physically & mentally) once again.
Next Steps
Consult your Doctor (gynaecologist/obstetrician), if still not satisfied you can consult another doctor (obgyn).
Consult a Psychologist.
CBT will work well to address this crying issue.
