Hlo dr , I am noticing red bump around anus region swollen type no pain and itching but it is felt ...it had been 3 days I am noticing why it is there and whats the cause ...I am worried plz tell that it is dangerous ..plz say. ..

A painless red swollen bump around the anus that has been present for 3 days without itching is most commonly an external haemorrhoid (pile), a skin tag, or a small cyst. These are very common and are generally not dangerous. An external pile can appear as a soft, reddish swelling around the anal opening, especially after straining, constipation, or prolonged sitting. The fact that it is not painful and not itching is a good sign.
