Hello. Small red spots or "red moles" on the skin, especially on the arms, are most commonly Cherry Angiomas (benign growths of blood vessels) or small non-blanching spots. In the vast majority of cases, these are completely harmless (benign), non-cancerous, and do not cause any health issues.
However, if you notice a sudden increase in number, it is important to rule out Petechiae (tiny red spots caused by minor bleeding under the skin due to low blood platelets or
vitamin deficiencies).
Medical Evaluation:
Cherry Angiomas: Very common, completely benign, and tend to increase naturally with age or genetic predisposition. They do not indicate any bleeding tendency.
Petechiae / Thrombocytopenia Screening: If the spots are flat, pinpoint-sized, and appear after slight pressure, checking your
complete blood count (specifically platelet count) will clear all doubts.
Next Steps
A simple CBC test with Platelet Count is recommended to ensure your blood platelets and clotting parameters are completely normal.

Health Tips
Reassurance: Try not to panic or overthink. Harmless skin vascular spots are extremely common in young adults and do not usually indicate an internal medical emergency.
Do Not Scratch or Pick: Avoid scratching, squeezing, or picking at these red spots, as this can cause localized bleeding or skin irritation.
Sun Protection: Protect exposed skin on your arms using a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+) when going outdoors.
Observe Any Changes: Take a clear photo of the spots today to keep track of their size, shape, and overall count over the next few weeks.
