I have been noticing red or maroon few spots in the stool from 4-5 years. I don't know whether it is blood or not. So I have done stool occult blood test 2 times but it came negative. There's no pain while passing the stool. Do I have to do any other test too?

Most of the time it is due to eating something which gets passed undigested Along with the stools. But you have been having it for 4-5 years. In that case it calls for lower GI endoscopy.
