UsuallY RCT will be done in one or two sittings which depends on the amount of infection in your teeth....capping is indicated in most of the cases anyway amount of tooth structure remaining will decide the need of capping....you should take soft diet for 3 days after root canal treatment

With help of endomoter RCT can complete in single sitting, But your doctor will take decision for it's better to do in single visit or call u 2 or 3 time Bcoz apically infected tooth not to be complete in 1 visit as may cause more problems Better to visit nearby doctors

Hello ! RCT, is three step procedure to save your tooth . It depends on the pathology /problem that is being diagnosed by your dentist keeping in mind the clinical signs and symptoms, also correlating the radiographic images which will decide the number of sittings for the total treatment. Procedure can be completed on the same day or in 2-3 sittings depending on the condition of the tooth Hence it is a very subjective opinion. Yes, a cap/crown is required after root canal treatment because the tooth loses its strength and becomes brittle thus becoming prone to fracture. Hence it needs a crown for reinforcement . Diet can be continued as regular, only advise would be to consume less acidic and sugary substances to prevent decay of other teeth. Rinse your mouth /brush atleast an hour after consuming acidic substances or chew on hard cheese or sugarless gum to increase salivary flow to wash away acidic environment.

If there is no infection below the tooth, it can be completed in a single appointment, but if your tooth has been broken from a long time or if your tooth is carious from long time, it should take 2-3 appointments max
