Rabies vaccine for reexposure
I was previously vaccinated rabivax IM 1 year ago but my dates were slightly off (0,3,7,27,41). And 1st dose was on hips.
Would I only need 2 doses for a re exposure now , dog scratched me.

Booster Schedule: "You should receive two booster doses of the Anti-Rabies Vaccine (ARV). The first dose should be taken immediately (Day 0) and the second dose on Day 3. These boosters will rapidly 'wake up' your existing antibodies to provide full protection."
Injection Site: "Ensure that both booster doses are administered in the deltoid muscle (upper arm). Never allow a rabies vaccine to be given in the hips/gluteal region, as the fat tissue there interferes with the vaccine's absorption."
Wound Care: "Immediately wash the scratch area with running water and soap for at least 15 minutes. This simple step physically removes a large portion of any potential virus and is as critical as the vaccine itself."
