Hello. Recently had blood work done tsh was elevated since 2024 however prolactin levels were in normal range, but not the blood work came back the prolactin levels were elevated too. Does sexual intercourse while stimulating breasts elevate prolactin levels.

Prolactin is not constant through out the day and it varies under many circumstances.So one single high value doesn't mean hyperprolactinemia.For detailed explanation kindly connect

Yes both can be to transient rise in prolactin levels The timing of this test is very important Should be done within 3 hours of getting up Borderline raised levels can be because of stress of a pinprick as well
