PROBLEM OF THOUGHTS

I am suffering from anxiety and depression for which i am taking treatment symptoms have reduced but still i am preoccupied with same kind of thoughts i just wanted to know how long does it take to cure depression and anxiety as i am on treatment from last 5 months...apart from medicine i am practising yoga meditation and good protein fibre diet..

Anxiety and depression has many causes amd many aspects. They cure or they are managed. Treatment may continue long or life long in case of modern medicine . In homoeopathic treatment treatment may cure the disease or also can take long but this medicine are not habituated on patients. Only medicine is not the only treatment for psychological issues. Hi Good to know that your symptoms have reduced. Each case is different and the big data on depression reveals that it typically takes 6 months to one year for a recovery of the first episode. Along with medicines your psychiatrist will also start counselling i.e REBT or  CBT which is specifically designed for your thoughts.
