Pregnancy advice
Hi,
I am 40 and want to know If it's safe to plan pregnancy with some health issues, I have a history of pcos and hypertension for which I take telvas 20mg. I have degenerative disc from 11 years.. now recently I was diagnosed with early Lumbar Spondylosis and osteophytes of knee.. I have a 13 year old child.. incase I get accidentally pregnant can I safely carry on? Is it safe to intentionally plan a pregnancy?
We don't believe in abortion..

The most important factor here is your age . The fertility is usually reduced with age . So if you accidentally get pregnant then first thing the medications which you r taking are safe or not and then to decide about the continuation of pregnancy. Otherwise if want to plan for it then get your self evaluated for pre conceptional and then go for it

If you don't believe in abortion there are contraceptive options available you can go with them
if you intentionally wish to plan a pregnancy it has to be after detailed evaluation and folic acid supplement should be taken 3 months prior
