It is obvious to gain weight post delivery. Eating increases as baby demands more nutrition while breastfeeding. Post partum weight can be reduced with adequate meals and exercise both after weaning. Once baby starts having food other than breast milk you can start working on your weight.

It is normal to gain weight as you crave for food which was not allowed during and post pregnancy. Try to make some dietary modifications and follow a healthy lifestyle to return to your normal weight. This can be done by avoiding consumption of fried foods and sugars. Rest, include fruits and vegetables, milk and dairy products, eggs, whole pulses and cereals, nuts and seeds in your diet.
