Hi! Happy to help. This is blepharitis, which is a type of infection of the lid margin. It is important to treat the cause and rule out seborrheic dermatitis (consult dermatology) . It takes time to treat, be patient and follow the routine for two weeks consistently. Along with topical antibiotic ointment twice a day, use luke warm water compress over the eyes with a cloth for at least 10 minutes every 3 hours. This will help dissolve and soften the crusts. Twice a day, use a cotton bud soaked in a solution of Johnson’s baby shampoo and like warm water and gently brush from the root of the lash out wards to clean each lash follicle and remove the crusts. Be gentle while doing so. Feel free to reach out for any assistance! :)
Next Steps
Derm consult + Lid hygiene to be maintained
Health Tips
Avoid rubbing eyes and frequently wash hands

Most likely this is anterior blepharitis (seborrheic type), which commonly presents as dandruff-like flakes over the eyelashes. Management: • Maintain lid hygiene – clean eyelid margins gently with diluted baby shampoo or lid wipes twice daily • Warm compresses for 5–10 minutes to loosen debris • Topical antibiotic ointment (like azithromycin) at lid margins if crusting is significant • Treat associated scalp dandruff if present

But, it is better to get a consultation

It's like eyelash infection. Dip a clean cloth in lukewarm water and clean this. Wash your eyelash with baby shampoo like johsons baby shampoo or something like that. Wear protective goggles while driving and clean eyes with clean water after coming back. All this will do no drops/ ointment needed. But if this irritates more then use occupol eye ointment at night.
