Platelet - Lab Report

Hi Doctor, This is for my husband who had fever for last 4 days and now he has no fever for the past 2 days.. Only cough is there.. His platelet count was going down till 116. I am attaching the latest lab report here. Please let me know if his platelet count is in normal range. Also, in the remarks they have mentioned "Platelet clumps seen". Is it something to worry about?

Usually they should give an exact number Platelets above 1.5lakh means they are in the normal range No need to worry about Platelet clumps

Keep getting checked each day Till the time it starts rising again Should not fall below 50 thousand report to the treating doctor for platelet transfusion

Platelet counts can go below 1.5 lakhs during viral illness and other conditions,it should not be a major issue if it stays above 50000,ask him to take plenty of liquids,rest,repeat test after 2 days
