Pinching pain in 5th month of pregnancy

I'm 18 weeks today with my first baby and the past few days I've been feeling this hard to explain feeling in my uterus area.. it feels like small little pinches or pin pricks inside... its not comfortable but not really painful either. I know most people say when they feel the baby move it feels like flutters, this does not feel like flutters.  Could this be due to baby movements or round ligament pain?
