Do you know what are first degree piles and what are thromboses piles ? If you know that means that you have consulted a Surgeon. If you have consulted, please follow his advice. If you don't like his advice please change your Surgeon. No Surgeon is going to change his opinion based on the advice of General Physician.

Surgery is advised for thrombosed external hemorrhoids.Till you arrange for an appointment with surgeon ,use pilex ointment for local application ,but it has limited benifits.
