Persistent Neck and shoulder pain.

I have persistent neck and shoulder pain. I have a slight hump on the base of the neck which is where the pain is concentrated at. Friends and family seem to think it could be cervical. I have not seen a doctor before. I want to know what kind of doctor to go to for this as a starting point. Should one see a Physiotherapist or an Ortho?

Hello please get a cervical spine X Ray AP and Lateral view and if any problem is seen then MRI cervical spine will be required. Presently take Cipzox 500 mg tablet at night for pain . Continue till reports are received. Then consult online or show to orthopedic. But only after your XRay
