Period delay post gall stones surgery
My sister had gall bladder stone surgery on 10th july, and her period was on 6th july. This month her period is yet to come. Though she has all the pre period symptoms like soreness. Also, she had little spotting a week ago. Do we be worried? She is not pregnant.
Period delay after any surgery is common. Physical and emotional stress from the operation can shift the cycle for a month or two, and light spotting can be an early cycle trying to restart.
