My wife has a PCOS problem. It was detected before her pregnancy 4 years ago. We have a child. Still she has the problem of PCOS. If her ovaries are removed by surgery, can she be cured of PCOS? If not, what will be the solution?

The treatment should be according to the problem she is facing because of PCOS. Since you have a child already infertility is not the problem.and if she has menstrual irregularities then that can be cured by conservative management.removing ovaries is not at all an option since it will lead to much worse scenario due to loss of normal hormones.
Next Steps
Consult your gynaecologist with the exact symptoms you are having.
Health Tips
Try regular exercise and mindful eating habits

You don't kill a mosquito with a bomb or even a hammer. That is the closest simily I can think of when you suggest removal of ovaries to cure PCOS .

PCOS is not a problem which gets cured on removing the ovaries. Its basically a metabolic syndrome.Mainly it's life style modification and diet that helps.

PCOS  is a lifestyle disease. Can be kept under control by regular excercise and diet. No permanent cure.
