My doctor prescribed me metformin 500mg twice a day for my pcos but my hba1c is normal do I still require metformin

Depends on other factors as well like your BMI, fasting insulin levels . Helps with insulin sensitivity in Pcos . You can go ahead with the treatment as per your doctor’s recommendation

No u don't The only treatment of pcos is to exercise and maintain a healthy bmi
