Partial ligament tear in right knee

I've been having severe knee pain resurfacing while playing football in every couple of months. Finally got my MRI done and the report says: 1. partial tear involving anterior cruciate ligament 2. linear tear involving posterior horn of medial meniscus Please advice if this need surgery or can be treated through physiotherapy?

Conserdering your age and nature of injury I think it is a meniscus injury which is the cause of pain ?Discuss this your Orthopaedic surgeon who can guide you better. Trial with good Physio therapy may reduce your pain
