Since the pain is present for many years, comes and goes, and worsens during passing stool without fever or vomiting, it is less suggestive of acute appendicitis. It may be related to IBS, intestinal spasm, constipation/straining, muscle wall pain, or occasionally a small hernia. Feel free to book a consultation so we can discuss the complete treatment plan in detail
Health Tips
Maintain good hydration, avoid constipation, and monitor for symptoms like fever, vomiting, swelling, or severe continuous pain.

A fixed point of pain in the lower right abdomen that worsens with the urge to pass stool and has been present for 6 years without any fever or vomiting is most consistent with IBS-related pain, likely involving the ileocecal region. Appendicitis would not last 6 years without becoming an emergency, so that is very unlikely. However, a small inguinal hernia should also be ruled out.
Next Steps
Get an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis done to rule out hernia, ovarian cysts, or any structural cause. Feel free to consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

Hi! Pain in the lower right abdomen triggered by bowel movements is due to IBS or intestinal spasms, especially with your history. 😊 The long duration without fever or vomiting is makes acute issues like appendix less likely. Feel free to consult for a detailed check and tailored relief. 👍
