I have right lower back pain that feels like muscle spasm and gets very stiff . This pain happens when I stand for sometime or walk or go up stairs or change positions . I don't feel the pain when I am sitting or sleeping or at rest but when I change position I feel it again. The pain is in the same place and feels good with massage and hot compress. This is happening for more than 7 months now. What is wrong with me please help? Is it scary? Please help

Not scary. Since it has been going on for 7 months, you should definitely see a Spine Specialist. You need to have spinal clinical assessment and further investigations to ascertain the cause of symptoms.
Next Steps
Consultant a Spine Specialist Surgeon
Health Tips
Avoid any heavy weight lifting. Monitor for any pins and needles, weakness or change in your bowel/bladder habits.
