Just a pain in the armpit is very vague sir.. if the physician examined and found lymphnodes than u need to rule out any infection or cause of the lymph node enlargement..  sometimes u can take a prolonged antibiotics course and see if the node resolves.. if you have lymph nodes in multiples parts of the body than it could be a serious problem like TB or Infection or Lymphoma.. but as such a single area lymphnode is usually harmless

Using roll on deos can cause this .. it could be an abscess .. apply mupirocin ointment ..
