My mother has been suffering from pain in lower back and right leg for past 6 days. She can not move at all. Please tell me what to do?

First is rest and hot fomentation. Is of firm bed and not to do any heavy activity for 3 weeks.
Next Steps
get one x ray of lumbar spine to have the idea of the condition of the spine
