Pain in left knee

My mother has some little pain in left knee but after doing high impact exercise one day her knee pain has increased a lot now the pain is such severe that it is very difficult for her to sit please suggest some medicines to releive the pain, because due to covid we are not in a position to go out to meet the doctor, her height is 5'1 and weight is 71kg, she does not have any other complications Thanks in advance

Needs to start with  knee exercises , hot fomentation , physiotharepy  anti inflammatory medicines.

The exercises which she did was beyond the tolerance capacity of her weak muscles and thus they are giving pain. Ask her to rest, apply ice, make her sit at a height from she can get down easily. Don't allow her sit for more than 20-25 minutes. Make her walk. Can do a light massage.

Take a pain killer with alternate cold and hot sponging for few days after consultation with your local doctor. If persists or swelling occurs then evaluation needed.

You need to elaborate the issue on , 1. is mother previously diagnosed with any knee issues. 2. Swelling on knee 3. Warmth 4. Elaborate Impact loading/ exercusion.

Where’s the knee pain? Inner side of the knee or front of the knee? Currently is the pain at rest too or only on activity? Any swelling around the knee ?
