Pain and swelling between the buttocks, may be due haemorrhoids, fistula or sinus. You should go to consult by general surgeon, is any other symptoms is associated kindly share for better information.

If it is in the anal area from where we pass stool then a general surgeon. If it is in an area other than anal region then orthopaedic surgeon.
