Pain during Menstruation

Hi.. I have been experiencing pain in lower abdomen during my Menstruation cycle and I take medicine meftal tablet on the very first day to get rid of the pain.. Please suggest me if it's advisable or should I be using some ayurveda medicines?? Any feedback wud be hugely appreciated.

It is not advisable as it will decrease your menstural flow.You should take dashmoolarishth liquid ,20 ml twice daily after meal with equal water.

Hello. stop taking meftal tablet. Take yograj guggul 3-3-3 tablet 4 days before mensuration &3 days after menstruation. do take oily, spicy,junk, fermented while menstruation.

Tab.cataspa twice daily.gives quick relief in dysmenorrhoea. Take tab. Pantop 20 mg along with cataspa. Sup.kumaryasaw 20 ml twice daily.

Dysmenorrhoea  ( painful menstruation ) is a condition caused due to excessive vata as per ayurveda. It will be better if you go for ultrasound of the pelvis to understand the cause of this problem. Ayurvedic medicines are quite helpful to relieve dysmenorrhoea. Tab.meftal will help you to only relieve pain. But ayurveda medicines will help you eradicate the problem from the root.
Next Steps
Apply dhanvantaram oil regularly on your stomach umbilicus and pelvic region after 20mins take warm bath. Avoid spicy oily junk foods ice water. keep your Diet and life style along with nature as much as possible.

Hi Dear pain during Menstruation is called dysmenorrhea . This can be easily reduced with proper lifestyle changes and diet .Don't take any painkillers, it rather harms than doing good.

Hi, it is suggested to first reduced your weight,  regularize your life style. Your dinner should finish by 8 pm. Lunch at 12.30 pm. Your breakfast should after your bath strictly. It is suggested to take 1/2 spoon hingavastak churna with 2 spoons of ghee in the beginning of your food with 3 spoons of rice, mor & eve, start 2 spoons of castor oil with milk or warm water at night 10 days before mences, do regular hot fomentation on lower abdomen and lower back. Avoid curd, pickle, Chan dal, panner ,poha , fermented foods, bakery products, besan, Let me know after 21 days.
