It could be due to referred pain. After surgical extraction of tooth, their are high chances you may feel pain for many days. Try to maintain good oral hygiene, warm saline water rinses two to three times a day, use betadine water gargles, if you have swelling then apply ice pack from outside mouth. Still have pain then visit doctor. X ray can rule out any other reason.

Do warm saline rinses 4-5 times daily. Take ketorol dt three times daily

Hello. While there are possibilities of you having referred pain but most likely you may have any cause originating from upper left tooth itself, mostly due to any caries present in any upper left back teeth. It is best to consult your dentist and get your upper teeth thoroughly examined.

Have your dentist examine ,could be decay in upper molar.or deep gum pockets.

Please get your teeth checked..if the surgical site is pain-free on the lower jaw, it's highly unlikely that the upper toothache could be due to this. There must be some tooth on the upper jaw that must be having a deep decay causing the pain. Please get your teeth examined by your dentist.
