Yes, eggs can be included, but with an LDL of 143 mg/dL and a history of PAD, the overall dietary pattern and cardiovascular risk factors are more important than eggs alone. Two whole eggs daily may not be appropriate with elevated LDL. I would suggest discussing your individual egg intake with your treating doctor/dietitian, especially given your PAD history. In the meantime, focus on a heart-healthy diet: increase soluble fibre (oats, barley, legumes, fruits and vegetables), nuts/seeds in appropriate portions, and healthy unsaturated fats, while limiting saturated and trans fats, fried/processed foods and high-fat dairy.
Health Tips
Do not make changes to any prescribed cholesterol or PAD medication without consulting your doctor. Your complete lipid profile (LDL, HDL, triglycerides, non-HDL cholesterol) and overall cardiovascular risk should be considered before deciding the appropriate egg intake.

LDL 143 mg/dL is elevated, so I would not routinely suggest 2 whole eggs every day (1 morning + 1 evening) without considering the complete lipid profile and overall diet. * 1 whole egg/day + 1–2 egg whites is a reasonable conservative choice. * If protein requirement is higher: use egg whites rather than adding another yolk. * Avoid combining eggs with butter, cheese, cream, processed meat, ghee-heavy foods. * Focus on oats, barley, vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts/seeds and unsaturated oils to improve the overall heart-health pattern.

Eggs on their own rarely make or break cholesterol, your overall diet pattern matters more. With your LDL raised and a PAD history, the right egg count is a call for the doctor managing your circulation, not a fixed rule.
Next Steps
Take your latest lipid report to your treating doctor or a dietitian and set the full daily plan together, eggs included.
