Good afternoon,
Parenting is a tough job afterall. Remember, a two year old's behaviour isn't all bad. Your toddler would love physical affection and can even return those hugs ad kisses back to you. They are great learners at this age, they only need your love and affection. One has to be very gentle with them.
A parent's greatest source of stress is tantrums. If your child is having them, you are not alone. They are normal for this age group and a part of the process of your child trying to become more independent and testing boundries mainly yours.
Tantrum can also take place because your child doesn't understand his emotions yet and hasn't fully developed the verbal skills to express his anger, frustration, fear, and other emotions.
A 2 year old child also have a better sense of their personal belongings, which causes them to be hesitant to share with other kids.
Next Steps
A good way to deal with tantrum is through distractions- simply removing your child from the stimulant that is trigerring the bad behaviour.
You can model good behaviour by letting your child see mommy and papa sharing things like chocolates, food, remote, newspaper, mobile, etc. But keep in mind that a child technically doesn't truly understand the concept of sharing until about age of 5.
