Nuchal fold thickness in anomaly scan

2025-08-31 10:27:55
Hello, in my 21week+3 days anomaly scan everything is fine except nuchal fold thickness which is 5.5mm. In 1st trimester NT scan and double marker test were low risk. Is it worrisome?

Nuchal thickness is normally checked at the time of Double Marker test which is done at 11 or 12 weeks. If it was normal at that time then no cause for concern.

Nuchal thickness is checked at the time of first trimester scan at 11-14 weeks. If it was normal at that time and dual marker test was negative then no need to worry.
