Yes absolutely. Newborn babies do not play by our rules, they are still figuring out what works for them

This sleep pattern is normal. Newborns usually develop a more regular sleep routine after the first 2 to 3 months

At this age, babies have immature sleep patterns. Short daytime naps of 30–60 minutes are very common, while at night they may sleep better but still wake every 2–3 hours for feeding. Your baby is still learning the difference between day and night. You can help by keeping daytime naps calm but not completely silent, ensuring good burping, and avoiding overstimulation before sleep. See a pediatrician only if baby is very irritable, feeds poorly, or sleeps less than 10 hours in 24 hours. Overall — this pattern is normal and will improve gradually.
