At 36 weeks if baby weight is 3.5kg it is on the higher side . We don't go for induction of labour straight away. We need to evaluate if the patient is diabetic because baby being on higher side of weight needs to evaluated completely. How much is liquor on ultrasound. If it is due to uncontrolled blood sugars of mother then we need to deliver the baby but if it is not  better to weight for another week and plan delivery after 37 weeks. Whether normal delivery is possible or not depends on passage of birth canal that means bony pelvis of mother if it is roomy better to go for trial. Remember it is always trial of labour. No-one can guarantee normal delivery.

Yes baby weight is on the higher side but it needs investigations for the macrosomic baby. Usually it happens in gestational diabetes. Anyways whatever the weight is better to go for induction at 37 weeks. Even 4 kg baby can be delivered normally. It depends on the bony pelvis of the mother. If mother's pelvis is roomy baby can be delivered normally

This is on the higher side.it is never about normal delivery or not...if during induced labour or spontaneous labour the baby shows signs of non progress or early fetal distress caesarean needs to be done.
