A comprehensive control can only be achieved through self help in the form diet control, exercise etc. Medication are only one aspect of treatment and unless and until you don’t combine with self help as suggested, you might struggle to control your sugars. If you are doing everything in terms of diet and exercise and still the sugars are high, it mean the medications might not be enough and there is a need to change or augment the treatment you are on.
