Got a tooth capping done years ago Currently the cap is touching the adjacent tooth and its hurting Have already booked an appointment witha dentist Need painkiller till my visit Please advise

Hi sir...   The pain may be due to  high points in the capping or due to erosion of cement in the cervical region of te cap and allows spread of infection... In this situation pain killers wont work... you need to treat the condition for permanent relief...
