It's difficult to determine the cause of your neck pain without a proper physical examination and medical history. However, if the pain is consistently at one point and has been present for some days, it's advisable to consult a doctor. Cervical spondylosis is a common condition that affects the cervical spine (neck region). It occurs due to age-related degeneration of the vertebrae and intervertebral discs in the neck, causing neck pain and stiffness, and can also cause radiating pain or numbness in the arms or shoulders. However, other conditions such as muscle strain, injury, or nerve-related issues can also cause neck pain. It's always better to get a proper diagnosis and treatment for your neck pain, so you should consult a doctor. In the meantime, you can try some home remedies like using a hot or cold compress on the affected area, maintaining good posture, and doing neck stretches and exercises under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
