Hello doctor 3 years back I was diagnosed was thyroid and at that time my yeh was 5 so I was taking 50 mcg but just few days back I thought to have a test again and after receiving my reports i was shocked as my TSH was 24.4 and many of my other parameters was disturbed like sugar was 131, total cholesterol was 228 and etc. Doctor i am a bit concerned that as my TSH has increased so was will be my dosage. And what all precautions should I take in my food habits so that it comes to normal. Doctor pls advise and the remaining talk we can have in the video consultation in the late evening today's. Thanks Masroor

Your results which are attached shows your cholesterol levels are slightly elevated.TSH level of 24 indicates you have uncontrolled hypothyroidism.Ideally once you are diagnosed with hypothyroidism and put on replacement hormone , thyroid function tests are done periodically to check the levels and to adjust the dosage.In your case 3 years is a long time.However hypothyroidism is associated with lipids glucose level disturbances. As you have a history of uncontrolled hypertension and stroke ,it is very essential that you follow up with your doctor at the earliest for appropriate management .

Your TSH is certainly raised. Cholesterol values are also high. The Sugar value ...is it Fasting / random or after food ? Are you taking your thyroid medication empty stomach or after food? Whats your weight and height? Any other medication apart from Thyroid? Please do feel free to consult

Sir Its advisable to meet a physician in person especially with your history of stroke. Your thyroid medication will need to be increased based on an asessment.you may also need medication for cholesterol and sugar. However,once thyroid levels are controlled some of the other values may also come down.
