My open mouth deviates to right side
When I open my mouth, my mouth drviates to right side. I also have cluttering and speech problem with r and l sound. Is there any link between open mouth posture and speech problem. Is speech problem curable at this age. Is there any exercise for speech problem. I have also tried multiple speech therapist and none has worked for me. I also have this problem from childhood.
Hello , Deviation of mouth to one side may be from birth or when developed later on is called acquired .
Reasons for the deviation varies from teeth to muscles to Tmj .
U need a thorough evaluation by Oral Medicine and Radiologist .

Secondly ur speech problem . Yes open mouth means that there is definitely abnormality in d dentition or the jaw bone and it invariably affects ur speech . For this u need to consult an orthodontist .
