Pain appearing 5 to 6 years after bridge placement can probably be due to gaps between the bridge and natural tooth( on which the bridge is placed). These gaps will allow saliva and bacteria to enter between the bridge and natural tooth, affecting the natural tooth and causing pain. However, there can be other reasons for the cause of pain as well. A proper X-ray will help to understand the condition better.

Health Tips
Avoid chewing on the affected side, as it may aggravate the pain. Further treatments can be carried out to avoid the pain and continue the life of the bridge.
