Can changing minoxidil finasteride topical brand cause allergy? Was on 1 month Hair4U topical solution (Alcohol 42 % )and had no sort of allergy . Switched to Tugain Men F+ 5% this month (Alcohol percentage not mentioned). The box also mentions Lipid based technology) - and started getting small rashes/rough skin behind ears, on both sides of nostrils and also on forehead. The previous brand also had alcohol in it but got no allergy. Do I need to switch back to my old brand? Or use alcohol free minoxidil. If yes will be equally effective as alcohol based minoxidil.
