Needing a pinch of salt to feel normal in the morning is not just a habit - it points to a low-salt/low-volume state, and in a young woman I mainly think of low blood pressure with poor volume, dehydration overnight, or occasionally an adrenal (cortisol/aldosterone) issue. Your body is telling you it loses sodium easily. This deserves testing, not guessing.
Next Steps
Get BP recorded lying down and after standing 3 minutes, plus serum sodium, potassium, haemoglobin,
thyroid and a morning cortisol. Till then drink water with a pinch of salt on waking and do not attempt full-day vrats. Book a consult with me on Practo with these reports and I will tell you if this is simple low BP or something hormonal.
