I am 22, a second year medical student . I am asking here as all of you are doctors. I am facing huge issues with my friendships. I don't have any study partner. The people who I call friends are not actual friends they are just like colleagues to me. We talk when needed . I can't say anything about my studies to anyone cause discussion and those things doesn't happen with the people I am with. What should I do ? I am under huge mental trauma.

Hello It's a great thing to see you've worked hard to reach there.  Don't worry,  this issue is common and it happened with me! Every person is a different,  I've seen in my career, if someone is so brilliant and fast to be tamed, he's usually alone! Socializing is a good thing,  but everyone today is competetive and wants that other person even freinds shouldn't move ahead, so you'll not always find people who are ready to help. Make your own schedule and go to library, the good  people will come in your way slowly.
