I am 46 yrs old . I fell down last 2 months back feeling severe pain in knee joint front and back. Took MRI grade 2 signal involving anterior horn of the lateral meniscus. Grade 1 signal involving the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. Mild heterogeneous signal intensity involving the anterior cruciate ligament early degenerative changes. Minimal joint effusion extending into suprapatellar bursa.

Grade 2 and grade 1 signal in MRI suggests tear in meniscus which is inside the substance Only.. You should be careful henceforth and avoid twisting activities with your knee.. Taking proper precautions can solve this problem easily. Also consider consultation with Orthopaedic surgeon for clinical examination for adequate diagnosis and treatment!
