Hi I got meniscus tear. I wanted to know if prp injection are advisable for this injury? Are there any side effects of prp injection? I know steroid injection have side effects but what about prp injection?

The grade of meniscus tear, side and site. Your age and symptoms and clinical examination all need to be put together. Injections won’t help.

Hello Practo User, In your case neither PRP or a steroid injection will work. There are two ways of treating it: 1.Operative- Surgical management by Arthroscopy. 2.Non operative- Precautions and physiotherapy.
