At 55, can be managed conservatively with rest for 4weeks. If there is locking or pain in knee post 4 weeks, then go for meniscectomy.

Hello sir For 55 yr, root tears are generally degenerative. Need to see the patient and correlate the MRI scans so as to see whether the patient can be managed conservatively or need some intervention
