I have PCOS and want to reduce weight. Can I take metformin for it? I am also planning to conceive. Will metformin aid in both weight loss and pregnancy?

Hi dear, Metformin do help in conceiving but doesnt directly help in reducing weight. Daily exercise with 30 min walk will help in wt reduction. Start folic acid daily once and try naturally :)

Hi. Yes you can take metformin 500 daily once for a week after food . Depending on your wt . You can increase the dose . It is not for wt reduction but it helps in  conceiving . Excercise and diet control will help in wt reduction .
