How does splint therapy work for tmj? If i have discomfort in my neck and back as a symptoms of tmj then will splint therapy help them also? How can say whether a splint is improving my condition or not?

Splints help in relaxation of your jaw muscles by guiding the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) achieve an appropriate closure of mouth. Any discomfort caused in the neck or upper back due TMJ disorders may get relieved with splints.
