Lymph node tumour

Lobes of the thyroid gland are normal in size and echotexture. According to ultrasound report a small well defined solid lesion seen in the right lobe measuring 12×8 mm. Two enlarged left supra clavicular lymph nodes seen measuring 21×8 mm and 12×9 mm. The carotid arteries and jugular veins are normal. Conclusion :- a small adenoma in the right lobe of thyroid with two enlarged left supra clavicular lymph nodes possibly of inflammatory etiology. And Wbc count 7300/cumm Neutrophils 30%(N:40-75) Lymphocytes 65%(N:20-45). S.creatinine 1.36 mg% (0.6-1.2) Montoux test An induration and erythema of 8 mm Seen after 48 hrs of intradermal injection of PPD. Test : positive. These are the report according to reports Doctor told me it is tb and suggest visit dots centre. But the tb specialists told me montox test is not very imp. They send me for fnac but tumor is very small and only one tumour is seen very small.patient have no symptoms of tb no weight loss no fever no fatigue no sweat.suggest

You can go for a ultrasound guided fnac from either the gland or the lymph nodes and accordingly u can proceed. Mantoux as told to you is not very specific or confirmatory.. Either go for ultrasound guided fnac or wait and watch as it grows enough to be taken for fnac.
