Low platlet count

Hello sir/madam My mother age is 54 years recently she had a body checkup her platlet count was 133 10^3 CM which is lower than the normal range 150 . Blood sugar hemoglobin kidneyliver and every other report is normal Is it a major problem Please give suggestions

I want to tell you one thing ; when we plan for any Surgery for any patient , our target is to have platelet count more than one lac. Your mother has much more. So she is safe. The Lab references are based on study of the whole population . So the average may be 1.5 lacs. But we start treatment when we  have apprehension that she may have excessive bleeding.  Your mother is not in that category.
