Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold). Avoid Squatting- Avoid sitting Cross legged Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

There is no way to change the knee appearance at his age. This may not even be an issue at the NDA, you may be worrying without any reason. They will look at what issues this appearance of the knee is causing and then decide. The flat foot, if it definitely that may Cause a problem. Some flat feet will be treated with simple inserts into the shoe whereas some may need surgery. To kNow which is which, he will need to be examined and investigations done. Hope this is helpful. Good luck with the NDA exams, our country needs people like your son. Proud that he has chosen this to serve our country.
